🙁
One of the sensors in that case I would think, did the engineer David at Kilmarnock recommended fit for you as he may be able to test these (although they are foamed in and generally not replaceable) ?
Put him in touch please 😉

ParticipantRe: Creda Europa oven not heating up
Unlikley to be honest but possible, although it’s normally the other way around. When the element fails on occasion it fuses the contacts in the thermostat so when the new element is fitted the oven will overheat which is why your friends were under the impression the opposite happened 😉

ParticipantRe: Norfrost twin Tub
In case Lawrence hasn’t sorted this and for future searchers, it is Qualtex that now hold the Norfrost spares and they have some (but limited) stock of the twin tub parts.
01795 592570 is the number to phone.

It’s a Smeg Mark, in the known error codes here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … 0&start=45
Almost like the E7 fault but with the 5th LED on 😕
You could try resetting it or possibly the dispensor solenoid at fault.

ParticipantRe: Ariston Margherita 2000 fault codes
F03 (3 flashes) is temperature control related 🙂
Search for “F03” here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ile=search
And take your pick from the Indesit and Ariston threads

That has a Bit100 control card in it, from the known error codes:
dishwasher fault codes with bit 100 pcb(written on serial no)
led1=overflow water in base
led2=inlet valve
led3=hermister
led4=timeout heating
1+2timeout draining
2+3timeout filling
1+3filters blocked
1+4software error
2+4heater

That would explain the odd symbols and possibly why the dispensor didn’t open if the control PCB got damp. It may be worth leaving it for a couple of days to dry out and try again, hopefully no lasting damage has been done 🙂

ParticipantRe: Smeg A3-5 – Problems with Main Oven Door
The seal is no problem, part number 754131208 at £10.27 ex VAT and carriage.
The door hinges and/or hinge supports need replacing to solve the main oven door not closing correctly by the sound of it (they wear). Again, not a problem and pretty reasonable at 9.80 each plus the supports at £4.82 each (ex VAT).
If you’d like any of the above, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please 🙂

ParticipantRe: hoover DF976 error
DF967 by any chance ? 😉
There is no E21 though for that model, it only goes up to E5, on the assumption that it’s E2 that indicates the NTC at fault or the wiring to it 🙂

ParticipantRe: Creda Europa oven not heating up
It’s almost certainly the fan element that has failed, you can get one here:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … cts_id=338
As for fitting, if you’re not confident then an engineer may be the best option but it’s fairly straightforward.
Power off if checking please, for an engineer have you tried the repairs@ link below ?
