    Re: indesit bearings

It does fit but only one of the shaft sizes 😉

17mm or 20mm drum pulley shaft size required to check properly 🙁

Re: sharp R7260 microwave door seal

It’s probably obsolete but I would urge you to take the microwave to a specialist to have it checked for safety, that isn’t a seal as such, it blocks microwave energy from escaping so if it’s damaged, stop using it straight away please ! . 😯

    Re: D & G approach

D&G are fine on the whole, it depends on the area you cover as to workloads, they will easliy provide the stats of the appliance type and job figures if you ask them 🙂

Always pay on time apart from the odd mistake from experience.

You’ve either knocked a lead off somewhere else or the timer may have been accidently put in to “auto” mode.

Did you replace the element by going through the oven cavity or remove the appliance and take the back panel off ?

Through the cavity it’s easy to pull the element in and the leads attached but the lead has been pulled off somewhere else I think.

Power off at all time of course 😉

Log in there with your Corgi card, it lists all the ACS assesment centres, or most anyway 🙂

42TH9/J5 is the diamond h replacement, number for number lead swap 🙂

The only problem is the space between the main oven stat and grill simmerstat is a bit tight but it does go.

    Re: Freezer Placement

In theory there is no reason why a freezer will not function correctly at low ambient temperatres, the main problem is condensation associated.

The low temperature effects the thermostat in fridge freezers and fridges as it ‘s “cut in” range is relatively high by comparison to freezers. Some try to overcome this with various “heating” devices to warm the phial.

    Re: Bosch salt/rinse aid lights

I don’t think the cost would be vastly different to be honest as the rinse aid and salt would need refilling far less regularly than on a weekly basis.

Tablet or powder is fine on the whole, stick to a good brand as well rather than the shop’s own 🙂

    Re: Tricity Tiara Temperature Scale

As a rough guide the oven temperature will go from 0-250C

Someone has fitted the wrong knob, there is a fairly universal Tiara knob that should do the trick (colour etc may not match).

Drop me an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and I can sort one out for you but bear in mind the landlord is responsible for the costs 😉

Re: hotpoint bs32 oven not heating

Almost certainly the element has failed (around £20 plus labour which will vary), not an overly costly or difficult repair 🙂

Check the reapirs@ link below for a local engineer wo you can discuss labour costs with.

    Re: SMEG DWD612SS DISHWASHER

Unknown fault code but it sounds like the usual culprit of the dispenser coil short circuit or open circuit which goes along with it not openeing and taking the RCD out
