    Thanks for your help. We have replaced the ntc and will replace the module.

    Element was replaced with a genuine Hoover element. Ntc was not replaced.

    I wish those who change these sort of wiring just for the sake of it would go out in the field and see what a hassle it causes. Often old leads don’t reach their new destination or the tags need to be right angle to fit- nightmare! same goes for energy regs.

    Some of the wires are going to be too short alright.

    That’s what it shows on your drawing there Dave. Presumably we are talking an EIKA hot plate here and the part number you can confirm for us? I would hate to be talking at cross purposes. 😉
    Yes an Eika replacement the same number you quoted.

    Hi Martin.
    Thanks for your reply. the new element is on top of the old for comparison.
    The new one does not have contacts 1b or 2b so I don’t know if I have the wrong element or what I do with the left over wires.
    Any help would be appreciated.
