    i know the motor is ok and i know its a board fault,what i want t know is has anyone had this problem and repaired the board themselve or is it a job for someone who refurbishes boards. all the same thanks for the reply

    turns out this one is a board fault cab, heater ok, purchased new board and configured it machine is now ok. you where right about being related to heater though,presume heater relay on board may have been at fault.

    thankyou Cab. will give it an insulation test, if your right which i am sure you are, there must be only a slight amount of earth leakage as it does not trip rcd. thankyou.

    thanks for the reply Eastlmark, but if it is just a hose why is it so elaborate. your reasoning is right was going to do the same thing myself. would still like to understand the whys an wherefores of such a hose. sorry to be a pain

    these machines are a pain to many problems, just been to hotpoint wd420 went through the usuall checks as mentioned above,ordered recon board fitted board same problem, after further investigation and lots of expletives under my breath found broken wire from the ntc where it is secured to the harness at the base of the machine,never had this before so maybe one to look out for in the future. so now is the time to start doing continuity checks on these wonderfull machines,maybe i should have thought of that in the first place. 😯
