    Re: PCB,s

There is a guy locally who collects old WG,s and breaks them for scrap I think I will do a deal on the boards, U/S or not might be an investment

Right, Open door remove spring clip around gasket and push it into the machine Lid off, soap drawer out, remove facia with its buttons lift up and there is a plastic clip to the right lift off facia and sit it on the machine top remove torx head screw in a hole on facia revealed when drawer removed 2 other screws holds water dispenser to L shaped bracket that runs the width of machine more 4 screws hold the bracket to machine lift onto the machine watch the cable ribbon, remove bottom panel 3 screws, 4 screws hold the front on remove these and the rest is easy,

    Re: Commercial

Actually commercial work is far more lucrative, for example who has worked on Girbau, Silanos, DC, Nelson, Valetine Lincat to name a few when these go wrong it is NEVER a case of “you,dd be cheaper with a new machine missus” and you walk away with a £25 call out having spent more time on on it than you feel comfortable charging for,As for 3 phase I agree with the safety concerns with single phase if you short summit you get a bang and a MCB trips a phase to phase contact results in a hellava lot more bang and you can easily take out the service fuse,
I am a NICEIC registered electrical contractor so for me the issues are well known ,then there is also the rotational issues
I was more interested in a way of sharing excperience and knowledge as like domestic manufacturers are reluctant to give info but some will gladly send all the info you need and over the years you obtain info that can be shared
