ParticipantRe: Kenwood Range Oven Bulb Socket replacement
Thank you for the reply.
Just out of curiosity, can the hob panel be removed without pulling the oven out? Or do you need access to the back? I’m trying not to move the range.di7ip

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Aquarius TDC32S Codenser dryer HELP
Thank you for the reply.
Yes I take your point that the best way to check is via a meter and unplugged. I did do that too with th eplug removed and all seems ok. Both stats at the back changed as precaution and continuity checked on all three sensors (two at back and one at the front).
Also, basically took the whole machine apart to clean and indeed yes there was alot of fluff and condenser chamber almost blocked though not quite. Anyway – everything is clean. Heat setting switch tested and seems to work fine. But I still can’t get the bottom two to glow at all. Resistance is good and continuity also.
It’s not a major problem now as at least it does dry the clothes, albeit slightly longer than when first purchased.Thank you for the advice – this is a great forum, excellent website and the response second to none.
Finally, given the above, is it worth changing the element? or could it be the timer unit?
Thank you once again.di7ip
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Aquarius TDC32S Codenser dryer HELP
Hellloooo,
I have the TDC30 version with what soundslike exactly the same problem.
I’ve read that what looks like the four elements on tehe back are actually two, however the bottom two never seem to come on in any setting.
Infact they are quite dusty (which I’ve cleaned off).Is this third sensor you mentioned the cause for the bottom two not glowing at all? or as you say, blocked condenser / airflow??
Can I assume that all four (what look like four) elements should glow on high heat setting and only two glow on low heat setting?
Any help appreciated. thank youdi7ip
ParticipantRe: Siemens WXLS122GB – Drum does not turn at all
Hi Penguin45,
Spot on as usual. Replaced the brushes and everything back to normal. I would have thought there would be an error code for such faults but hey – who needs error codes with you guys around. Thanks once again for your (quick) help

ParticipantRe: Ariston A1435 LED flashes twice Error
Thank you for you quick reply.
I’ve just spotted a dry joint on one of the relay legs on the main PCB. Have resoldered and it’s now (touchwood) running fine.
Excellent forum btw.
Thnaks once again.

ParticipantRe: Ariston a1635 error help
Hi all,
Completely new to this site, but in need of help.
I have an Ariston A1435 Washing machine which has an error code F02 (LED flashes twice as the controller rotates). To my knowledge, this is what happens :
Turn to any program and switch on – the drum fills and rotates about 3 or 4 times, then the pump kicks in and the drum empties, but during this stage the controller starts clicking and the pump still pumps even though all the water has gone. The LED flashes twice.I’ve have tried resetting – powerring off – checked the pump for obstruction but all seems ok. I do have another slight problem in that the fabric conditioner is not beiong used but I guess that’s either blocked jets or faulty solenoid. Could this be causing the problem?
I can put program 8 on but only from the rinse cycle onwards and this works so I’m assuming it’s nothing to do with the motor?? I could be wrong.
Given the current climate – I’m reluctant to buy a new machine, so I’m going to try all that I can before I give up – any help appreciated.
Thank you
