I had a problem with too high water pressure – not with a washing machine but a shower – but just thought I’d let you know that a pressure-reducing valve fitted on the water supply is very effective and not very expensive. Just in case you find that the water pressure is the problem.
This may not help but I have an old AEG Oko Lavamat which had a problem some years ago: it stopped before the final spin. It has a dial which you turn to select the wash and it turned out that this was sticking. A very simple problem to solve. Discovered this after I’d called in an engineer who told me the machine needed replacing.
