Any help on this one please. It throws up no fault code, just sits there doing nothing with the countdown timer counting down? 🙁

Would be nice if so but I think it maybe more of a problem than a mistake 😥

ParticipantRe: What washing machine – help me decide……
Decided to scrap the idea of a Dyson washer, parts are a pig it get and they no longer make bearings for them (which would probably be the first thing that went on my one if I bought)
Id like a 1607 QW but dont have the 949.99 ( 😯 ) to buy one!!
Dusty321
ParticipantOK cheers K!
Any thoughts on the Maytag MAH7550AGW, looks a beast of a machine but are they much cop?
Ta!

ParticipantI think ‘er’ in doors fancies the Dyson for our washing – its kinda taken her off the (horse jacked washer) track thank God!
Just need some of the locals in here to comment on Dyson reliability etc…..

I don’t know what those valve thingies are but i do know that i would not buy a dyson washer 🙁
Have you noticed that they have ‘faded’ from the selves! Good reason for that me thinks 🙂
Wish you good luck with whatever you decide 😀
My new ise10 is arriving tomorrow and i cant wait. I will be like  watching the first few cycles!
kind regards

Hey QW, the Dyson’s are quite cheap thou – not sure why they faded from the selves, I haven’t seen (on net) a problem with them that another machine of similar age didn’t suffer from 😕I suppose I could get the cheap one from eBay, get it fixed and serviced and then get some DOMGEN insurance on it – its only 90 quid for the year peace of mind etc… 😀
Dusty321
ParticipantValve thingies – HA Im with you on that one dont have a clue!
Might see if I can find a cheap Dyson on eBay, the other half likes the look of them :o)

ParticipantMaytag washers look like they could fit the bill!
Take a ganda at this bad boy http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAYTAG-AMERICAN-C … 2c5891e269Dusty321

The so called 11kg machines are not really that anyway as most manufacturers cheat the numbers try to get the drum capacity in litres as that is more accurate but some still cheat. The Koreans just lie.
The thing is my local laundrette uses an IPSO, the drum doesn’t look that big and when the duvet is eventually rammed in there is not room for the duvet to move around – just fills the drum half full of water and away to go, probably the reason they never come out clean. To be totally honest the drum looks no bigger than the 9-10KG jobbies knocking around at the mo 😯Dusty321

OK thanks chaps.
SO to conclude……
Domestic washer for the horse stuff is a NO NO – cool, can someone suggest an alternative?
AND one last question that comes from the other half, is there a domestic machine that can wash a 13.5 tog double duvet – maybe the one’s I mentioned earlier. The problem I see is that although they ain’t mega heavy with water added Id imagine they would be too much for even the 11KG machines?
Any thoughts on that question?

Does the hoover really have a 10 year guarantee, because when i was looking for a machine (i bought the ise10) the only one i could find with a 10 year guarantee was a miele (which i didnt want) and they only give 10 years when on promotion. 😕

Hi, pretty sure it was 10 years – that’s ALL the other half did was bang on about what a good price and peace of mind yada yada yada….Always a good deal when it ain’t there money – and the moment it goes wrong it’ll be I told you so 😆

ParticipantRe: What washing machine – help me decide……
Bloody hell, wasn’t sure about the Daewoo but Hoover – Barge pole, these guys give a 10 year warranty on that washer, surely that must count for faith in their product 😯
OK so those washers ain’t much cop – what I need is a washer that can cope with a 7 foot horse blanket, any suggestions on a machine?
Dusty321
ParticipantCheers Penguin!
How the hell do you know this stuff, are you a repairer?
Just one last question, are these Zanussi Electrolux’s much cope compared to other brands?
