Will try another powder. Shame really, we chose the Simply brand because of the Eco side of things as we are not on main drainage but have a treatment plant thats fussy about the waste it receives.

I did note somewhere on the website that Ariel was a detergent of choice, is this still the case.

As you say, the problem then is the Simply powder tabs. What i do not understand is that we have been using these and only these since purchasing the washer 5 years ago on all clothes including the darks and have had no problem until now and as Aquados say they have not changed their formula cannot understand why we now have this problem. It seem a change in powder is the only course of action now.

Re: ISE 1606 washer and Simply powder tabs

Thanks for the info. The stains appear to be similar to the second of the three
examples you have given (marks on rollneck jumper) but the remedy of rewashing does not clear the stain,it helps slightly but the marks are still noticeable and the clothes unwearable. The problem though is it happens every time on the dark colours and not intermittent no matter how we load the machine etc.
Could fabric softener cause these marks? which the wife adds to the drawer.
I have also heard back from Aquados inasmuch that they have not changed the formula of the washing powder tabs. They also misread my email thinking I had only just bought my washing machine and blaming lower water levels due to reduced water inlet valve and not enough water being allowed through the machine as before. I have clarified the situation with them.

    Hi kwatt
Thanks for your reply. I have today emailed Aquados asking if their formula has changed and await the answer.
With regard to your final couple of lines what in your view could change with the machine to cause the problem.

    Re: New integrated fridge/freezer

    Don,

We have now seen the Gorenje RKI 14256W. Also on display was a frost free model NRKI 41278.
Our Schreiber was frost free but would it be unwise to go down this route again
with the frost free Gorenje ?

    Thanks
    Dusty

    Hi Don,

Thanks for the reply. We will take a look at the Gorenje. The 5 year warranty is a big plus.

    Re: ISE 1606W Spin speed

    Hi
Sorry if I did not make myself clear. My post was really about the spin speeds rather than the noise but would add that the machine has always been noisy from day 1 and has never moved in use since being installed, seems planted to the spot. Have always accepted the noise and that was how the machine was.

Well, what happened? This is like reading a book with the last page torn out.
