ParticipantQuickBooks has been my go-to accounting software since the COVID-19 outbreak. So far this year it has cost me £19.20 a month, the price does continue to rise, and no doubt will again when MTD comes in. It’s easy to use for sole traders, though I’d recommend having an accountant set it up initially to ensure everything is configured correctly.

ParticipantHi Lucie, I didn’t ask about his discount, I was just happy to get the Hisense dishwasher issue sorted….turned out to be a shorted aquastop solenoid that took out the tiny triac on the board. Steve mentioned he uses a microscope for his work… meanwhile, I rely on an iPhone and a magnifying glass, yet still struggle to read what’s printed on the components. Probably more to do with these old eyes than anything else!

ParticipantI have been using Steve at EasyPCB for board repairs, and his turnaround time is exceptional—most repairs are completed the day after he receives them and shipped back the following day. At approximately £50 including return postage, it is a dependable and cost-effective solution.

ParticipantUpdate…. this stuff is the dogs when it comes to gluing rubber. Had good success with the oven door seals. Should you decide to buy some, be extra careful and do not let the bottle tip over and wipe clean the nozzle tip every time you use it, as in my case the nozzle and cap completely welded itself together.
