Hi all

Regarding the Zanussi, its uneconomical to repair & I have been given £210 towards a new machine.

Since I posted yesterday & after reading notes on this website regarding washer dryers I have decided to go with just a washer.

Thanks for the advice, I have opted for the Bosch WAE24364GB.

Sorry I haven’t responded earlier but have been away from computer a bit. I will post the model number when I get home.

Cockney Steve, when I checked the water coming out of the washing machine waste pipe the water was running thick & fast as if it was from the wash & before the spin ? The water around the spin time is not as fast, sometimes a trickle, but still cold.

Someone advised me that the glass door of the washing machine should be at least ” warm ” to the touch when a 95 degree wash is on ?
