I have the same problem but my machine is going on forever! I’m alittle confused over what they exact part is actually called? I’m trying to buy the part but need to know whats its known as!

I have a WIDL126 and it was making alot of noise during certain parts of the cycle (either wash or dry) but its stopped that now but I have noticed the dryer is not getting hot. Also it keeps running for ever and ever.
It has done this before and I just cleaned it out and it seemed to fix the problem. But now the problem seems to have worsened – any ideas what it maybe? Thermostat? Bearings?
Is it worth repairing or jsut buy a new one? This si about 5 years old and has been in constant use.
