    Re: Beko Sealed Tanks?

i would say that a hell of a lot quicker doing full tub than spitting etc – so on a plus point good if speed is required ..

has anyone had the pleasure of doing a beko split tub .. not the one with the front plate – i mean the one that splits in the middle

    Re: Beko Sealed Tanks?

true martin , but ive got a feeling that even beko customers will think about buying beko again when they get hit with a £100 plus repair bill to replace a tub unit instead of £40 job or diy paddle fit, if their not insured then its another one in the dump. thought the wta were talking to government about this stuff ? ..
ps if your doing contract work etc – you will find thats theres no bearing/tub job uplift on the type of job as well .. thanks beko – but then again you do keep us all busy with pumps , carbons etc ..lol

    Re: The 0800 Thread

    well put jackal ,
we cant get it right all the time theres just to many appliance brands ,faults , customer misuse , lack of tech/parts – the list can be endless.

i dont have any issues with any of 0800 qualified engineers which mike is one off , i just think the franchise model of offering an appliance repair business to anyone with money isnt that great an idea for the appliance industry. call me cynical but you just cant train people to an competent level that quick.

the 0800 repair concept – marketing etc has been spot on in my opinion
but i think the jtm side of things has possibly put a good few companies off the idea ..

    Re: WASHING MACHINE PRICE 1973

i suppose when they bought a budget machine back in the day it actually worked for a couple of years ,

now if they get a couple of months there doing well.

their should be a proper guide out their to explain what customer are actually getting for their money ..

maybe like trip adviser , we could have sh££t advised ..

    lol

    Re: The 0800 Thread

i suppose thats what customers will get when they contact a company who use franchise engineers who may not be fully trained or have any understanding of the appliances they are dealing with ..

    not mike of course ..

    Re: Seven Days A Week

like every thing else we have turned into a 7 day week society , 24hours shopping, food , internet always on .

i think we have been brainwashed into thinking this is the norm .. im not saying its a bad thing it will probably suit some people , im happy to bail out the house on a Saturday morning repairing appliances is a lot easier than hoovering dusting cleaning ..lol dont know about sunday though ..??
