4 pin version mod kit…by pass kfv sensor.. sorry if info seems a bit scrambled but the info leaflet i got with mod kit was written in dodgy broken german // english PM if you require a diagram to clarify mod..
    pins on module connector >> 1 2 3 4
..kfv sensor runs to pins 1 & 3…you hav to cut the wires running to 1 & 3 and join them..tape up the redundant kvf sensor wires ..
you also have to cut the wire leading to pin 4 and connect it to pin 1…so might be an idea to twist 4 & 3 together put them into one end of a butt connector and then wire from pin 1 into the other end…

so to recap…. connect wires 1 & 3, and then connect wire 4 to wire 1..tape of all redundant wires..

i had problems with an wma board recently….door lock light flashing i knew this fault because i was caught out with it b4 ie fitted interlock and got same prob…so now i change both..interlock and pcb…the job i had recently bounced on me… ie same prob as original..door light flashing….looked at pcb …door triac blown…decided to recheck everything and noticed a small water mark on the door switch….i then checked door seal and discovered a minute hole in which had been jetting out tiny amouts of water onto the interlock..thus blowing interlock & pcb…

also sounds like you could have a problem with the thermistor, which is situated at the sump area..if you follow the 2 thin blue wires from the module you will find the t/mistr..a half turn will remove it…..
i had this fault recently ie starts >> wash,s>>heats and then aborts after 15-20 mins>> aborted due to no heat sensed by t/mister…
    worth a try ..

    Re: Insulation testers

talking about important tests..you should buy a multitester that lets you do a earth-loop test…

more expensive but if were talking about being safe it would be good practice to do an earth loop, which would check that the appliance and the circuit its plugged into are properly earthed..
whats the point in doing your repair work & any insu/res tests and then plugging it in when you dont know if the earth system is satisfactory…. i know this sounds a bit heavy but if a situation arises where a customer gets a nasty shock etc from an appliance that you have recently repaired and you cant prove that you have carried out basic safety checks you could land yourself in a lot of trouble…

these multi tester are probaly £100 more than a decent mega but they can do a lot more and could keep you out of trouble…

    Re: Shoes Off please

after a bit of a heated disscusssion i agreed to put on overshoes kindly supplied by this pain in the RS customer..once inside i had a good look round as you do , and decided that overshoes werent required..but i kept them on…customer left me alone to get on with job…and i duly travelled in and out to the van about 3-4 times with the overshoes still on….on the last return from my van the customer was waitng at the door shaking there head in disaproval…. i replied its ok im wearing the overshoes and walked past into house. admittedly they were all ripped and a bit dirty by this stage but it was quite amusing…customer at this stage had gave up trying to educate me….

is this the double door type ?? if so check inside the fridge compartment.. behind the pull out drawers the water gets cooled there…ive found that the fridge evaporator gets overiced which freezes the water cooler
remedy = defrost fridge evap and retest..
