that makes some sense .. as they are not busy but didnt think they would be intrested at the rates, also they dont normaly want to be associated with 3rd parties ? ..

all the b/g engineers do now is sell gas/lecy and any other products that b/g have ..

    Re: DSG/RepairCare Rate Cuts

looks like it may have been a costing exercise from some bean-counter with no insight into the whitegoods service industry.

lets face it the screw the manufacturers into the ground by demanding cheap built appliances

and then insist that the poor old customer takes an extra warranty to underwrite the poorly built built appliance they have just bought.

you got to luv it ..

and i thought it was just the good old british motorist that was fleeced

i hope that dsg recognise the conseqences of their actions…and hopefully find another bean-counter who recognises the importance of a good after sales network. get it wrong and the customer will not be back to buy another product from you … fact.

i recomend advertising as a good cost saving area.. everybody knows customers check between comet-currys .. so why bother advertising … save the money live of comets adverts and put the advertising budget towards undercutting comet price …simples

    Re: DSG/RepairCare Rate Cuts

out of intrest where would dsg be able to take their buisness to ?

    would they have the same
online system r/c offer their agents
    next day spares delivery
electronic payments on the dot each month ..

i dont know of any other co that has so much stock ready for next day delivery..

dsg customers would certainly see a difference on service levels ..

not sticking up for r/c .. just wondering if their is anyone out there that could match what they do ..
