One further thing…
The machine was repaired just before Christmas – is it possible that there’s been a slow leak from then – or a slow leak that’s got worse?
They also apparently left the machine in their unheated workshop during a period when we were getting -10° (and colder). Their pipes and testing rig froze – so presumably my machine did too. Could this have caused damage that’s resulted in the current leak?
Many thanks.

Just been mopping up the water! More like at least a pint, possibly quite a lot more.

Thanks for the speedy reply! Seems like you’re correct. Just tilted it and the floor is now quite wet! Looks like at least a good mug full of water – maybe more, and I didn’t tilt it for too long.
So – now what?!

Hi – Thanks for the feedback. I finally managed to get hold of a multimeter!
In the meantime, I’ve taken the top and sides off, checked various things, including making sure all the floats etc are clean and no pipes blocked, etc.
I presume it’s the two center connections which need to be resistance tested – there seem to be quite a few wires connected, and some to the center of the unit as well. As long as I disconnect what I presume are the center electrodes, are those what I then need to test? If so, I’m getting an open circuit – so presume that suggests the heater element needs replacing?
If so – can anyone please tell me the procedure for replacing it on my particular model (free standing, stainless steel interior, plastic base). Which direction do I need to come from to get at it?
Also, where do I find the part number for the element?
Many thanks again.

Hi – Is anyone able to tell me what the error code means?
Thanks, hopefully!
