    Just home with my new Sebo X4. Had a Dyson animal, so did the vacuum with that first. Now just had a go on the Sebo, what a different class. So much less noise and a much better pick up, carpet looking good, very pleased. 😀

    You were right about QER, they cannot fix the board, so I’ll be needing a new one. 🙁

    Trying to trace the tracks on the board it seems to follow back to the rinse aid sensor.

    No, I’m not trade. Just the family fix it, make do and mend guy.

    Have checked heater element and got 24ohms so this shouldn’t be the cause of this blow. Any other checks before I send control module to QER? Thanks for any help.

    Blown control module is what I have found. 👿 Is it just a straight swap for a new one or will this have blown for another reason?

    All the pipes have been off and cleaned, 1st thing I did. Thanks anyway!

    Has now done 1 run empty and 1 full load all looks to be in good working order.

    Have today done a strip and clean of the bottom dirty hose and the big and smaller side chambers. just switched on for a programme run so will report back how we get on.

    ok looks like it has the 1min to go problem so tomorrow its strip and clean all hoses.

    thank you. I have had a look at the filter with the drain pump and the little propeller is not spinning so its not emptying.

    Thanks to this thread I have just repaired my AEG 40640. It was not heating up and had the same dry joint on the PCB inside the door.
