    If you’re in the diagnostic menu the last option will give you a fault code

    Resistance sounds about right. If you put the machine on a spin cycle does it do the same? Have you checked the motor brushes? When the brushes go you can often get odd faults.

    Firstly have you checked if your machine is on their product recall list? Or has any rework needed been done?

    I’m not familiar with your exact model but there should be a thermal fuse on both fridge and freezer evaporators (normally have black and red cable) if these fuses go the fridge will stick in defrost mode. It’s also worth checking the resistance of the defrost elements as these are fairly common (test them individually and not from the connection they both plug into)

    If it has a linear pressure switch you may have to reset it after manually draining the appliance.

    Turn the machine off pour in 1.5 litres of water then put on a drain cycle. You might have to do this more than once as they can be temperamental
