normally these boards show blown tracks when faulty, did you disconnect motor plug to check across terminals, if top 2 pins on motor are open circuit it can cause your problem.hope this helps rgds gazza.

hope reply is not too late,you say will not reset, but then all lights go out when reset? if you mean after selecting prog and than closing door all lights go out most probably circ pump, quite often when not able to select programme or reset these machines engineers presume module, qiuck check, unplug circ pump and see if it holds programme selects light, also if it has a inline heater fitted ie not in tub,earth faults can cause all sorts of spurious errors/symptons, even a megger meter is not able to confim at times .rgds gazza

just a note may save u some costs, if you are good with a soldering iron and have a desolder pump,u can desolder the eeprom from original module and put into socket on new module.please make sure half moon shape cut out on eeprom chip matches with cut out on socket when fiiting, hope this helps rgds gazza.

door lock is thru timer, suspect contacts are welded together keeping neutral phase to interlock. rgds gazza.

HI ALL (sorry caps lock off!0) just to really test us in the field and it is from a well known source, merloni dishwashers will be produced in china within 2 yrs. if they are anything like their motorcycles god help us, they copy honda (the legend) and produce crap, can u imagine copying merloni d/w. please all sign up now to your local church and samaritans. dont have nightmares. rgds gazza
