    Thanks for that info. Unfortunately the customer couldn’t wait so got Miele out. God knows what her total bill was but she “couldn’t manage another weekend without her dishwasher”. You’d think it would have been cheaper to get the kids doing the dishes!

    Thanks but I have aready tried that. When the machine is switched back on it flashes the error again after about 5 seconds. I think I’ll order up a thermistor and see if that does the trick.

    It is the drain pump.

    Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately that’s not the case with this machine. The tube you mention is in place. I’ve had so many of these it’s one of the first things I look for. Thanks again. GCK

    I had the same problem after fitting a new board – the lights flashed once then nothing. The board was supplied without the EEPROM. Could the EEPROM on your machine be loose or faulty?
