“Im not a violent man” a quote from Bernard Cribbins in Fawlty Towers, The Hotel Inspectors.
He is slowly rising my ire with his repetative self fix as Jim said.
Ken had an exchange with him the other night and I foolishly believed the penny had dropped as it ended quite amicabilly.

Please Jim fix it for MFH to fall into skip full of 12v PC fans, from Mods on UKW 😆

    Hi
Thanks for your honesty.Maybe when we recommend getting an engineer in, in some instances its not because we don’t want to help, it maybe because that particular repair is more intensive than we think is acceptable for most people to tackle.

Glad you all sorted anyway 😀

I am deadly serious about UKW succeeding, make no bones about that ❗
I appreciate that I am not a business owner but make no mistake, I will fight for all UKW stand for to the last.
Its the principle of the matter and its worth the cause.

    Re: Bosch Dishwasher keeps filling

    Hi
If you remove filters and look at the 5 o clock position, there should be a removable round capping (1p size). Pop it off and remove the float (NOTE which way it came out as its imperative) Clean the travel and the float itself.
This a known suspect and there is IIRC a module p/no change which instead of relying on the float, actually does a timed fill therefore combatting the jamming float and flooding.

    Hi
If you open the door slightly and look along the top of the stainless steel, you will find the model number etched onto it.
Have moved you to trade section 😀

Re: Bosch WAE24162UK trying find my serial number?

    Hi
Its probably a 1 fits all registration booklet.
If you open the door of your apppliance, on the inner you will be presented with WAE24162UK/1 FD8703 123456 the latter being your seriel number.

Hope that helps, but as Bryan said you probably end up with junk mail and contact by them for cover after the 2 years has elapsed 👿

    Hi
You would never be refused your second year guarantee with a valid receipt and thats from the horses mouth as it were 😉
As for the 10 digit seriel number, they are usually 5-6 IIRC
