I would stake money on it being a Metz 8)
Only sure way would be to remove casing and motor. Loosen bolt of suspension leg, that arm should be just cupped in there 😀

Ref metz and siemens type motors. These motors are no longer available you must use the indesco motor. On all these older models you will need to replace the module and the interface. Please see your supervisor for the correct part listings that you will need.

Hi Steve,
With the appliance unplugged, I would start by looking at the motor brushes, these should be approx 1 inch in length when new, to give you an idea.
Failing that its possibly a speed control module fault.

Im sorry but microwave repairs must be undertaken by a suitably qualified engineer with correct equipment.
The high voltages present even after appliance has been off for days will kill.
Im afraid that no further information can be given except to find an engineer. 😉

If you remove panel at rear of inside of main oven cavity, you will gain access to the element.
The p/no is 499003 – £36.70 inc VAT + costs, and is available from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

Power off before attempting any repair on the appliance :plug:
