The reason being that the appliance only has one compressor therefore if the ambient temp is the same as the fridge cavity temp, then the appliance has no need to switch on. That also means that the freezer will be off; you guessed it, defrost. By leaving the interior lamp on 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}, that is enough to raise the temp in the fridge cavity to cycle the appliance thus allowing the freezer to stay frozen, when appliance is in a cold environment.

    Hi Simon
Yes better switch off to reduce any un-necessary wear on compressor plus wastage of your electricity 😉

Re: bosch kim30443gb/01 fridge/freezer problem – please help

    Hi
If you can hear the motor (compressor) running constantly without any freeze or chill, then you are most definately looking at a system fault whether it be low refrigerent, blockage in the system or weak compressor.
In any case its out of the realms of this forum and you will have to consider an engineer.

    Hi
Spray arm/s getting obstructed by wash load, firing the spray constantly at the door; it will give in eventually and leak.
Check the lower door seal as it has a tendancy to come off the door well, the new ones are of a different design.

    Hi Jim
In one of the spouts off the drain pump, you may find a 5p or button which fits perfectly in the bore. It then proceeds to act like a flap. best way is drain down, remove the two hoses from top of pump and push your finger down to plop it into main pump housing area.

Re: Bosch WFF1201 clicking through program.

    Hi
This has no optical fault indication.
I would check the filter, pump and drain because if the appliance has a problem with removing water within 6 minutes, then the machine will fault into the off positon as described by the customer 😀
