When you say stopped at the first pump out, does it make the usual pump noise or a low hum?Greg

Subject: The Urologist
Dan went to his appointment with the urologist.
In the examining room he told the doctor, “Don’t laugh!”“Of course I won’t laugh,” the doctor said. “I’m a professional.
In more than twenty years I’ve never laughed at a patient.”“Okay then,” Dan said, and proceeded to drop his trousers,
revealing the tiniest ‘willie’ the doctor had ever seen.
It wasn’t any bigger than a triple A battery.Unable to control himself, the doctor started giggling, then fell to the floor laughing hysterically.
Ten minutes later he was able to struggle to his feet and regain his composure.“I’m so sorry,” he said. “I really am. I don’t know what came over me.
On my honor as a doctor and a gentleman, I promise it won’t happen again.
Now, what seems to be the problem?”

Ok Simon
If any component has a short circuit or earth fault, the display will either go dark or have no function.
Basically check components (heater first 😉 ) in turn,. replace as required.Greg

ParticipantRe: Neff T4742 Induction Hob
Hi
Some of the guys in the UKW list are BSH qualified, so never fear.
The BSH call out is very reasonable in all fairness. I know for a fact that some of the lesser quality manufactureres do charge a lot more 😕
At least if you get an engineer out you will know exactly what is required to repair, it will be cheaper in the long run foryou 🙂Greg
