    It has been known to replace lid with a piece of sheet steel and obviously secure it securely.
    ATEOTD (ssh iadom 😀 ) it is a free standing appliance and not a built in/under appliance.

    Its no scam. Fault location is usually the most time consuming part of the repair and the customer is paying for your expertise and professional guidance.
    Your time is worth money, don’t give it away.

    Yea point taken,just seems a shame that UKW cannot generate revenue for advertising ie why give prime time space away for free, they get enough for free, tech info etc.

    In these environments they tend to be in and out of them more than in a domestic environment, also they have been known to leave the door ajar a while until spotted, by then the defrost has no way of recovery.
    Is circulation fan running ok?
