    It shouldn’t really back feed as it has a non return flap 😕
    What the best practice is, is to make sure that when the waste pipe leaves the spigot, it needs to go up into a loop higher than the the spigot so that back fill cannot take place.

    I would remove magnatron and look for cracks in the permamagnet, its quite common in those panasonic ones 😉

    Have you checked the mains plug for signs of overheating ie disfigurement of plastic around pins of plug?
    Have you tried the appliance in a different mains socket?
    Have a go at those and come back to us 🙂

    I was tempted then helo had a go. Ideally I think it should be you as his comment was directed at you.
    He is totally out of order and to think he has been helped with his Zanussi w/m previously 👿
