    Hi Dougie
I do see where you are coming from but we really cannot give you verbatim diagnostics, only a gentle nudge and help. If the fault, as in your case seems to be getting very technical, ie meter, leakage testing etc then specialist equipment and knowledge would be needed hence DPs and my suggestion of an engineer.

As far as a replacement, Bosch have a very good reputation and are sensibly priced, as are the spares.

What I mean is Beko appliances have quite a good reputation but if you have £300 to play with, I know which avenue I would pursue. 😀

You are kidding right Madrat 😆

The Bosch WAE28162 is around the £300 mark with 2 year parts and labour.

In all fairness Dougie I think it maybe engineer time as this is seems to be turning out to be not a straight forward fault.

Please feel free to use the engineer link below.

    Hi
Yes that model does have a spring, but why would you want to struggle for the sake of 3 minutes to remove front panel, thats just making work for yourself 🙂

Zanussi is a different ball game as the front doesn’t come off and you just have to struggle so no comparison really to the Bosch.

As for Trade Access a PM to either Dave_Conway or kwatt should be able to sort that out.

    Greg 😉
