ParticipantRe: Whilpool American side by side
I agree with Dave, warm. I am in the middle of one that because the compressor cooling fan has failed due to water ingress from holed water pipe and thus has made compressor work very hard causing middle column between freezer and fridge to become quite hot. Worth checking that the fan is running when the compressor is.

❗ PS Dont be poking your finger near that fan it has metal blades and stops for no one

ParticipantRe: my fridge smells
Hi
Remove drain bath on top of compressor and clean thoroughly and also clean drain hole from inside fridge to the top of the drain bath.
Use Bi Carbonate of soda in the inside of the fridge to clean and detergent on bath.Greg

HI
I would guess without seeing appliance that the water level is correct and that its the dosage of powder that is wrong.
Have you had the fortune of one of our Detergent Training Sessions by one of our three trainers, its an eye opener and believe me you can teach an old dog new tricks 😉
Look in the ” Training” forum on the trade section for your nearest FREE session, and you also get some freebies 😀 can’t be bad.Regards

Hi Wayne

If you scroll up to “usergroups” and then across from non-member groups, choose “Trade Members” then click “View Information”. That will show you the trade members.
I had my reasons for saying what I did Wayne; in my post which you quoted from, for which Im not going to go into. 😉Hope that helps
