    As best of my knowledge this beauty has a wire band holding it to the tank that can be re attached witha long pair of pliers but it can be fun 😀

    Should be interesting as they won their case a while back with Electrolux re bagless vacs, although that was a blatant rip off of Dyson and was proved; so no libelous claim against me for saying that.

    You can get normal noise but sometimes the impeller has parted company from the shaft of the motor, a quick turn of this will confirm as you won’t get the “twanging” feeling as you rotate it.

    Sounds like low gas or weak compresser problem. Being 11 yrs old I would imagine it has R12 refrigerant which makes it BER imo.
    You can convert to a “drop in gas” but realistically it doesnt owe you anything 😉

    Bosch, Siemens, Neff and some Teknic
    eg –
    FD 8510

    add 2 to the 1st digit of the first two makin it 05 = year 2005 and the last two digits are its month 10 = October
