Praise indeed.
And rightly earned.
I don’t think any industry could be better served.

Sir,
That’s a very broad statement without knowing each engineers individual circumstances.
Some people have their lives planned to the nth degree owing to family commitements etc. If the employer is continuously moving the goal posts and putting more and more pressure to do the impossible then something has to give eventually. To expect an engineer/breadwinner to nonchanantly throw his livelihood in for grass that MAY be greener is slightly niave methinks.Gertrude

But what about the cheap’n’ nasty merloni type (Greek/Spanish?) they badged up in the early nineties?!!! :rolls:
Backplates spinning ripping the loom, damaging the heater. Floods galore!

Aha!
I see the common denominator.
The emphasis being on the ‘common’!!!

Cheers Andy.
So it could be a Belling Washing Machine?
Maybe that’s why the customer said it was overheating!! 😆
We got the job from Inth**it who also hadn’t heard of Bellack( :rolls: ) so we handed it back.
So who makes for Belling?

ParticipantRe: Question for Indesit employed engineer?
I’d’ve thought that unless there are specific instructions obviously noticable to the customer regarding installation siting and relevant conditions then you’d have no choice but to honour the parts guarantee.
Cockroaches! 😡
Have to be firm and say ‘No!’ to working anywhere that has these.

When I was with LGH I have to say we never got many ‘mistakes’ regarding who repaired what Tecnik.
This included BSH, AIS, Whirlpool (they made too) and also JTM.We had quite a definitive list of models to manufacturers.

Nope, don’t get this one.
Sorry.
I know BSH made for Tecnik but…?

Sorry Martin, I don’t mean to be critical of you (or anyone else!) for taking the easy money. 😳
It’s just that sometimes me old morals and ethics kick in when I see or hear about what could be construed as an exploitative situation. 🙁
But I suppose nowadays we shouldn’t be too ‘fussy’ about where the financial gains derive from. 😉
Apologies if my initial light hearted intentions got slightly warped!
All the best,
Gert.
