Cheers matey.
think I will purchase a new oven from the cheaper end of the market to get me through to next year when I can upgrade as part of the kitchen refurb. The oven was on permanately today when the mains power was put on and the clock reset and in manual. Even the top oven would not work until the main oven was put on

Thanks for getting back to me.
Model number ? = The only info I have on it is “Creda Menu 350 double oven”
There are no other markings on it or in the booklets

Hmmm
surely this can not be how a fridge is supposed to operate ?
partially frozen cooked meats etc because they get pushed to the back ?
How can this appliance be classed as a fridge if it freezes items within it because they “touch” the back wall ?greenhut11

Sorry for the delay getting back to you.
Thanks for the suggestion and explanation
I will pull the appliance further away from the wall and see if this improves the performance
