Thanks Penguin45, I’ll have a look. The door works a treat now. We use powder and rinse aid but at the age of the machine I bet it does have some gunge! Is the pressure chamber underneath at the front or behind the small panel below the the door?

Part arrived yesterday and of course it does connect to the door leaver/hinge! Works a treat which her who should be obeyed really appreciates. Thanks for the diagram Penguin45, just need to sort out the drying problem! 🙂

Sounds very similar to the problem I’m having with a candy c4400. Seems nice and hot when washing and rinsing but everything seems very wet at end of drying cycle! I wonder if the experts could tell me if the pressure chamber in the same place as on your machine? many thanks. 😀

Thanks Penguin 45, so it doesn’t attach to the door hinge. I wondered what the other paper clip type hook was for! I’ve ordered up a replacement spring. Any thoughts on the drying problem?
