Guess what I’ve bought a bosch (old one with door handle on the left and it works like a dream I take back my hate of bosch
Sarah I just looked that bosch model on another forum and it had good write ups I’d get it.

which model is your whirlpool I had an Aspirations 1200 AWM 828 For 4 weeks as I we couldn’t stand the noise it made when spinning (banging against the casing), spinning anti clockwise which drives me nuts,
taking too long to wash, including quick wash option is used.We had a Hotpoint WM52 or 53 1200 first edition washing machine after the whirlpool for a few years as we needed a modern Hotpoint (big mistake).
I helped a mate of mine who was in the industry and helped him restore old/ new machines sadly he has now shut up shop and I’m sorry to say I lost my memory on repairing.

Hi I do not reccomend bosch at all I had a relative that exact model and broke 4 times in 1 month and Customer service at the time was appolling.
I would reccomend The Hotpoint ultima WT960/5 or WD860’s as they are top notch.
But have a think about the Hoover Vision 8KG models they have a excellent reliability record.
