Re: keeping a freezer in a garage

The climate ratings are generally for fridges or fridge freezers. Freezers can run in a garage without any problems as long as it is only a freezer as your ambient temperature will not affect its performance. Fridge freezers will not work in a garage if the appliance is operated by one mechanical thermostat which runs the fridge compartement .

with regards to your bosch ff, if it is a frost free appliance your first line of repair is to manually defrost appliance by turning whole unit off for about 5 days. this is because the evaporater behind the panel in the freezer has over frozen and restricted the air flow. normal cause of this fault is to much moisture drawn in i.e door left open.Bosch tech line were correct but minimum 5 days!!!!

    Re: Bosch Washer/Dryer

the problem is the drain pump itself. Normal fault is appliance will work a couple of times then fails to drain due to pump overheating and siezing. At the end of the cycle if the appliance is left for about an hour the pump cools down and then you are able to select drain and pump will work.
