    Hi I changed the reed switch myself. The switch cost me £4 and a soldering iron cost me £2.99. The engineer told me there was a fault with the pcb board and he called me the next day with the price for a new one £177 + vat, he had already charged me £50 to do a diagnostic test. I had the number from yell.com,They were Domestic appliance care wales in Caerphilly.

    OMG There is water in the base of the machine so it probably is the wash pump. Is this a job I could fix myself because there is no way I could afford a repiar person.

    Will I have to take the tank off to get to the switch or is it possible to get the switch out without taking the tank off.
