ParticipantRe: Tumble Dryer brands
Thanks Kwatt – I saw that it was out of stock on this site, click on the link Penguin put in, it’s at the bottom in a red box.
I’m sold on it – also spoken to hubby whose favourite saying is “buy cheap buy twice”. He’s got 12 years in the AV industry so I’d better listen to him as well as you guys 😉
Just got to get the money together (a day or 2) and it’ll be ordered.
In terms of my old machine, would anyone like it? I am going to pop it on Freecycle, as if I can find an engineer who’d be willing to take it off my hands they could get it fixed up at trade prices then make a bit of cash selling it on. I wouldn’t want any money for it, I’d be happy it’s not being landfilled and someone gets somethign out of it. I’m in North East Surrey.

thanks Penguin, I would actually love to get the ISE10 but I noticed this on the link:
This item not currently available but can be backordered Unfortunately we cannot offer an ETA now.
🙁
If you know something I don’t, or if it would be a case of waiting a month or so that’d be OK, but from the above getting hold of one looks difficult. If you know different please let me know.
I’m thinking of these ones, if anyone wants to chip in:
Electrolux EDI96150W (reduced from £499 to £349)
Zanussi ZDC67550W Freestanding Condenser Dryer (£305)
Miele T8622
6kg Condenser Tumble Dryer in Lotus White (reduced from £854.99 to £684.72, OK over budget but it’s a Miele)Electrolux EDI97170W (reduced from £615 to £399)

ParticipantRe: WhiteKnight 767c – drum won’t turn
Ah, I had a feeling it might be the drum needing replacing, and not a job I’d like to take on myself.
Thank you very much for the replies, it’s reassuring to have some impartial advice. I’ll do some sums about getting a repair done, but it may be a case of replacement. And yes the machine had been noisy but not much more than it had been when we first got it. Seems I’d better pay a bit more attention. You live, you learn.
thank you again for the replises – much appreciated.
