    i have light and fan working ok,but no compressor,checked pcb no signs of dry joints or blown cap.i have no continuity from any of the wires coming from the defrost stat,is this meant to be like this,other than that suspect starter cap.

    thats probably why i couldnt find it as i was lookin at the lower rear where they would be on the bekos

    customer tells me machine is approx 2 1/2 yrs old.could not check heater as was completely iced up.could not see a defrost timer any where

    had same fault 2 weeks ago,no matter what you do machine is locked out,turned out to be the dc board in the top of machine,cost around £20.hope this helps.lee

    after initial inspection, suppressor is ok and no broken wires,i have power up to the switch and then it enters pcb.i suspect board but cant see anything untoward, no blown components or burnt tracks,any ideas from anyone appreciated

    i have narrowed it down to the motor,there seems to be slight play in the shaft ,does anyone know if these are servicable items.

    i thought as much,does the drum need to be removed or can you access it after removing the front panel.

    doesnt seem to be a magnet anywhere near.the switch is on a small pcb which slots into compartment on the water matrix.

    checked pcb seems to be seated ok,ran machine after checking pcb seating and as soon as water enters machine inlet/drain light comes on and stays on while water entering then light flashes during water pulses
