You need to make sure you unplug machine first then you can either take out the heating element or take off the sump hose which is at the bottom of the drum both of these will give you access to see if there is anything in tub.(will still be water in if you take off sump hose) just put a towel down

Is there alot of movement on the drum up and down sounds like it could be the bearings.

ParticipantRe: Taking on another engineer/ VAT registration
rather than employing someone its better for you to use someone who is selfemployed no holidays to pay no transport to provide or sickness.
I am self employed and i do alot of work for service force they pay me £25.00 a call only if completed i am currently doing between 10-12 jobs a day it works great for both parties just another thought for you.

ParticipantRe: ISE c1555wh control knob
yes i am an ise agent how do i log on the ise forum?
There was no grease or dirt in fact the machine looks brand new considering it was bought in 2007 normally the slot in pcb has grooves so that the pin for the knob can only fit one way this is why the pin on the spin knob is round with a slight shamfer on but the pin has to much movement causing it to jam if the pin was the same as the programme knob this wouldn’t happen.
