To report back on this fault, replacing the board behind the facia did the trick. Ran it over several days hoping to find the leak that may have caused the fault in the first place but never found it.

    Hi K

In your PM you said did I reset the board ? is this the same as The Total reset described in the Service manual? if so it won’t let me do a reset it has no effect holding the S1 start/stop button and then turnig on the power.

Re: ISE 10 1606W DISPLAY GOES BLANK

Went back to the above washer and located the ntc, there was signs of water around, dryed it and then tested it with my meter it measured 7.5kohms the service manual says 6.1-3.8kohms will this mean a replaced or will it improve when dries out more?
Will the faulty ntc cause no motor action and stop me doing a total reset and getting into the test programme?
On every progam it fills and once filled immeadiatley drains then either resets or the display goes blank with NMA. tried spin only, still NMA.
Tested heater element again for earth fault and continuity all ok, also motor has no earth faults.
During testing was looking for water leak although there are signs of water nothing would show up for me.
Apart from the distance problem 40mile round trip the customer is getting irrate as she didn’t expect a problem this early in 10 year warranty but thats the way it goes.
    Any more advice please?

Re: ISE 10 1606W DISPLAY GOES BLANK

If it is a wet or damp thermistor is it just a matter od drying it and finding the source of the the leak? what reading should I get to test if it’s faulty?

Re: ISE 10 1606W DISPLAY GOES BLANK

Thanks for the advice, this is my first call on the 10 and also it’s a 40 mile round trip and I’ve already been there once so it would be good to take as much information as possible this time.
