Hi thanks for replying. Yes there does seem to be a feint buzz. I have called BSH and they confirmed its still in warranty, 1 month left!.

If that is the case can it be fixed or do they usualy replace the whole fridge.?

Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be a tin base plate, the base is a complete plastic tray, cant seem to get in from bottom.

There is a cover at the bottom front of the unit that comes off

There is very little room to move hand in there, so cant see that I could easily swap it out and refit the hose connections.

Well, after about 5 visits from Hotpoint, including changing the control module,re-gassing, clearing out the pipework, they have written it off. I suspect it has to be a faulty thermistor or something simple like that but hey ho.

I’m now being offered a hotpoint replacement 🙁

I dont think it is frost free, although it is electronic controlled and has a led screen on the front of the fridge to set temp/different modes etc.
