Hi Guys
Just to say thanks the old Bosch is working a treat, really appreciated.
Not to mention moving my posting into dishwashers, just when I had got used to it being a washer.
Cheers
john 😉

just one other point, came as some suprise to find the forums split up in the last 24 hours, even more surprised to find that my dishwasher had landed in the washers section.
I have to say that it must have been a major feat to split up over 3k of posts, major, major task
all the best

Hi chaps
thanks for the item, which i have ordered, which prompts another numb question.Have downloaded the schematic from the Bosch web site but it is not exactly clear as to the location of the stat, do you get to “under the tub” as so well explained by Penguin45 by laying washer on its back?
Sorry Guys but am an IT engineer, am use to smaller things
Thanks in advance

Hi thanks for that.
Any ideas where I can get a replacement stat from, and where in the machine it is located. Thanks

ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP 8122 Now Bosch SMS 4452
Hi thanks for the reply, however have already moved it out in to the garage, and brought back from the grave the old bosch.
But of course nothing every runs as expected. It hasn’t been used for 2 years, but it washes better than the diplomat. The problem now is that the bosch seems to have a problem with I think a thermal switch.
It will start the wash cycle but it just seems to get hotter and hotter and it just carrys on washing, the only way to continue is to move the knob round to the drain cycle. It then does the same on the rinse cycle.
So I figure it must be a temperature sensor. Though I know very little about dishwashers.Any ideas and recommendations please
Thanks
