    Re: D&G – Servis & Indesit

I wonder if Antonio and Vittorio actually talk to one another and are having a good laugh at us, purposely flooding our market with low priced, low quality appliances.

3,500 dishwashers nationally between 70 odd agents, thats another long term contract NESN gained then isn’t it ? It should last all of a month !!

Unfortunately many have. An awful lot of members were inticed in to buying shares back in 2002 as a money making scheme by NESN. Having had a glimpse at the recent accounts released to shareholders, it makes horrific reading with massive investment and little extra income to cover for it. Now that CDSL and MFI are gone, where do they hope to regain that capitol outlay ? By suing their agents for earning a living ?

Thankfully I did not get roped in on the shares thing, but I’m sure a few shareholders are none too pleased at the moment. If anyone’s interested in a more recent update, have a look at Companies House here http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ or go to the NESN AGM on 20th Feb in Walsall.

Very good news then, it has been pondered over for some time whether this contract would ever stand up in court, and now there’s a good chance it won’t. At least now the people with the benefit of knowledge ukwhitegoods has given they can make their own decisions, it’s just a shame for those of us that have already signed it. But then, if NESN don’t have a leg to stand on, no-one has too much to worry about and we can happily go about earning a living without fear of legal threats, which I doubt NESN can either afford financially or if they want any sort of network left.

    Re: Electrue/NESN

It appears today that NESN are in total desperation over this whole termination with CDSL thing. A letter clearly stating that the whole affair will seriously damage NESN’s business has been sent to all NESN agents, DSG and CDSL if CDSL continue with their threat of immediate termination. It also is a clear threat to their agents not to work directly for CDSL as it would breach the Service Provider Agreement between agents and NESN. As has already been stated before, a clear message was given to NESN agents last year by the management that this threat would not be carried out.

I’m sure most of the agents have little or no interest in the legal wrangles, so if NESN are accusing CDSL of coercing agents in to a breach of contract, obviously they have DSG customers affairs to think of, but more importantly it will see the agents have a continuation of work, and perhaps see that particular clause as restrictive practice.

Let the agents get on with what they do best, get the job done, leave you’re internal battles out of this, and stop behaving like children with you’re underhand threats and stupidity. All we want is to do our jobs and keep the customers happy.

kwatt wrote:There is to be a national meeting of NESN members on Wednesday 28th January held by NESN specifically regarding Connect.

This meeting has been split in to two sessions to allow members more time to attend according to NESN. According to other sources it is to split conflicting opinions, one session for the NESN “yes” people and the other for those who will not go along with NESN’s plans.

    Clever idea ? Not really.

There is no guessing needed. I have just read the piece on ‘work required’, it seems that this outfit are making even more lives a misery by shafting people, and so early in the year. You must be really proud of you’re efforts NESN !

Apparently not. Merry Xmas to those of you who have left you’re agents wondering whether they will have a business this time next year due to you’re own downfalls and pettiness. I do hope you raise a glass as a toast to you’re achievements, the trouble is the glass will be empty.

The first one, caused by an exodus of agents are who are now older and wiser.

    Re: Electrue/NESN

It seems there may be coverage problems caused by this carry on.

I have heard tell today of a customer that has been pushed in to buying a new washing machine because the company who cover this work cannot get an engineer to him before Christmas. Apparently the company that used to cover it no longer do due to contractual and payment problems, so the customer has been told by DSG.

I have been asked to say a big thank-you to Connect and NESN as an Independant has gained the sale of a new washing machine due to the customer’s total disgust of this situation.

I guess he won’t be returning to the sheds for any more appliances.

machineman wrote:didnt know connect needed a contract signing with this new system

From what I hear, everyone involved should have recieved a letter from the head of the Connect service network explaining that the work will now be paid for directly by them and not via NESN. There is also a few details about how the system will work, and that a new contract WILL have to be signed with CDS.

NESN will take exception to this I’m sure.

    Another Letter !

What’s this I hear about a warning to NESN agents not to sign the new contract agreement with Connect Distribution for Coverplan work.

Surely not another threat from the SOS Overlord !
