Thanks to the information on this forum I was able to arrange a repair for our DWF30 machine, I thought I would add to the body of knowledge, hoping someone else will benefit.
My initial approach by phone failed; apparently the Customer Service Department isn’t the same as the Service department. People should approach the Customer Service Department to arrange an engineers visit. I was told that email addressed to TheServiceCentre@Indesit.com will reach the right people
