Re: New Fridge Freezer – £500ish

Thanks, I think I’ll go with the KG39NVI32G – has the 5 years warranty and no water dispenser (more door shelf space) and ticks all the other boxes.

Looking forward to NOT playing sour milk ro ulette every morning! Ha.

Ah, ok. Just wanted to make sure as it £50 and no info or picture or compatibility check for that part on the Zanussi site.

Watched a few guides on replacing defrost timers. Looks easy enough.

    Now it gets embarrassing…

Opened the panel in the fridge and I couldn’t see the timer anywhere.

    The panel:

There’s only 1 silver box (code – nwpf5k-089)? Doesn’t look like the timers I’ve seen online. And there are no other timers/boxes.

Could it be in the freezer? So much ice in there. Will need to defrost before I can get the panel out. Need to actually find the thing before placing the order.

Thanks for the info, makes sense.

There’s no defrost timer listed for my product number on the Zanussi website, would Part: 4055208914 work?

There are 2 similar items specifically for my model:

    1. Freezer Defrost Thermostat
Prevent your freezer from building up with ice and your electrical components having to work too hard with this replacement defrost thermostat.
    Part number : 4055088803

    2. Refrigerator Thermostat
Does food keep freezing inside your fridge even though you have it set on the warmest temperature setting? Usually, this is an indication that the thermostat has failed. By simply replacing the refrigerator thermostat, you could have your machine functioning properly again.
    Part number: 4055179354

My food isn’t freezing in the fridge. So option 1 looks likely?
