ParticipantRe: Whirlpool G2PDWI/1WH Error Code
Hi Greg – I had a look at the water matrix and found that the flowmeter is indeed faulty. It has a crack in the glass reed switch which picks up the magnetic pulses from the impeller. It’s not responding when the impeller turns. Do you know if the reed switch, or its small circuit board are available separately from the matrix? If not, is the matrix available?
Thanks for your help – Kevin.kevin.mawhinney@lineone.n

Plenty of water flowing in and the machine fills OK. Where is the flowmeter and how does it work?

Thanks for the suggestions. The pressure switch is fine. I’m going to try a new NTC probe.

Should I buy a new NTC probe and try it? It’s cheaper than a new control board. On startup, the machine fills with water normally but then the buzzer sounds and the fault light starts flashing. The drain pump then starts up.
Can you think of anything else I should try?
Thanks – Kevin. -
