Whirlpool don’t make a bad dryer either,it’s just the price of the spares that scares me to death!!!

ParticipantRe: self adhesive labels
We use daymark as well, our labels look similar to the zanussi silver type model number label.

Jim and, I think, Chris have a copy and they can tell you it’s pretty comprehensive.Excellent DVD, apart from the narrator of the service videos, if I hear the phrase “you can easily” once more I will have to shout rude words at the screen. 😀
Jim.
Thanks for the copy ken
Agree with you Jim it’s so EASY :rotl:

Don’t take this the wrong way ken but does this product work and can it be used on a machine that is a few years into it’s life.Just like ISE i have to be convinced it is worth stocking, there isn’t a week that goes by without someone saying their machine stinks.

ParticipantRe: Coolzone Appliances
Hi Andy
Take my advice DON’T it’s just not about price, you have to consider other factors eg levels of service.Don’t get me wrong here i can not fault the engineer who called,he was out to look at the appliance within 24/48 hours of reporting the fault it’s the baggage that comes with it.kladave
ParticipantRe: Hoovers cut out
If you are sure the filters don’t need cleaning and there are no blockages then the motor is at fault.BTW brick/plaster dust is just too fine for most domestic vacuum cleaners.

“We have just recently joined the Corgi register and during a ‘pre registration’ interview with our local Corgi Inspector, I asked the question…………..
(I’m not using the technical jargon here now, nor quoting the Inspector, just posting my interpretation of his answer)……..
Q – Can a non Gas qualified Engineer carry out repairs on duel fuel cooking appliances?
A – Yes. Only if you have to break into the gas system to change a component do you have to be deemed competent and be qualified accordingly whilst being on the Corgi register.
I send my Engineers to carry out elec work on gas cooking appliances and told the Inspector that also, (he did not object) however, they are all aware of the actions to be taken if they or the customer discover a gas escape. ”
If you’d like, I will contact Corgi again and question their Technical desk and post the responce.
Adrian 🙂
Yes please adrianthanks dave
