Sorry to bump an old thread…
I had the same issue with my machine, remove and dismantled (what a nightmare to get out!).
Heater was OK, tested it on the bench briefly with mains voltage via crimps. Can confirm 28ohms is correct for its coil.
The temp sensor also had similar readings to those posted above when at room temp and plunged into hot water.
I removed the control board and tested the relay, it seems OK but buzzed a little at 12vdc, no buzzing at 13vdc+. I soldered some leads to it and monitored it in the machine. 11.5vdc came on fairly quickly on a 30min wash and the heater was drawing power again (normal wash does a long cold cycle first).
Machine is now working again – I’m thinking due to age the relay is not getting its full 12vdc and it doesn’t like it too much? Also the relay is old.
I have ordered some spares just in case. Next time – and for anyone else with the same issue – I would just dismantle the front panel to access the PCB as its much easier than getting the integrated machine out! You can remove the top black plastic part and get the PCB out… Hope this helps others…

I have adjusted the drying setting to 1 led and have successfully dried two loads now! temp is 75-80 degrees! No idea if the setting changed…. Fingers crossed it lasts – Either that or the moisture sensor is playing up?

Do you think its worth just changing the sensors? Im struggling to find out what temperature it should heat the clothes too?

    Hi,
It uses two sensor bars at the front – I have cleaned them with vinegar and given them a rub with a washing sponge.

Does 80 degrees sound warm enough to dry clothes? it goes to 70 degrees on a dedicates dry. When I used to open the machine mid cycle the clothes would be steaming hot!

I will check the NTCs later – Is there likely to be a datasheet that will tell me what the resistance should be at a certain temperature?

The front one looks like this https://www.ransomspares.co.uk/parts/washing-machines/bosch/ntc-probe-temperature-sensor-/61876.htm?gclid=Cj0KCQiAt_PuBRDcARIsAMNlBdptWf8HbimsOCER0CeBBUT6oGT16ysYeFC1vtIFt5SyOfjxUIqDZcAaAkyDEALw_wcB

Thanks for the reply – I have the dryness set with 4 leds ON. In the manual it doesn’t really state which is more dry (more or less LEDs?)
