Ok i tried running the inlet valve test in the diagnostics/hardware-test mode..

the inlet below becomes pressurized as soon as I turn on water inlet, so the problem/blockage must be beyond this point (the inlet valve is before this point!)

that is my conclusion too, theres two valves located at the base of the machine, right where the inlet splits in two..

so the most probable thing is that the one for the top drawer is busted, I assume it is this part:
526850 VALVE INLET DOUBLE W/SOFT DH

    Re: dd603h ‘fill fault’

    *thanks for replying

yes I unplugged it before taking off the plate, but obviously the hardware check can only be run when the unit is plugged in 😉

it is and has always been attached to cold water.

‘filter blocked on mains supply’ … the bottom drawer works, so it is something that only affects the top drawer..

    Re: dd603h ‘fill fault’

ive managed to get hold of the service manual…

after running hw check it is clear that the problem is getting water _in_

it just drizzles ever so slightly..

another question what is the brown stuff in the image?

Re: smeg microwave fme20ex, dead on arrival?

    service came today.

looked at it blinking and acting crazy, mumbled something (or maybe it was just my hangover 😉 )

then decided to take the unit in for service

    …to be continued….

one of my friends that is an electrician, says that many such whitegoods today have an reset option, since it might just be the computer inside thats crashed.

does anyone know if that is the case for this model, and if so what is the way to do it?

Re: SMEG oven light stays on

Ive had the unit for about a year, but only installed it last week.

I was promised 24months of manufacturer EU warranty
