    Re: DW5FIIS tabletop dishwasher

    Hi,

They didnt help, they gave me a number for Argo Bush Spares, like u said they said they only hold spares enough for warranty period items 8( mines older than 12 months, nearly 3 i think or just over 3.

Strange no other people sell copy-parts, I use to have a tabletop Zanussi and the thin fascia on that along the top broke and I could get a plain white (without zanussi logo etc) from a company online. Wonder why can’t get a simple door piece of plastic.

Oh well not getting a new one til its broken down, so ill have to put up with it. Not getting a BUSH again.

Re: Dishwashers ok with extended long hoses??

I cant see how to get the bottom of cupboard out.

but i think i may get a tabletop now anyway.

my old one is 45cm wide
and i see that new ones are wider so may be better
    Like
Matsui MTT4W on dixons site says thats 62.5cm
    and
Bush DW5F on argos says its 57cm wide

    Thanks for advise

Re: Dishwashers ok with extended long hoses??

    hi

im trying to decide what one to get now lol
want to get one in about 2 weeks time.

    Its a toss-up beween
    Beko DE2541F White Slimline (Argos)
    and
    Hotpoint SDW60P slimline (Tescos)

as they are in my price range and have salt/rinse aid indicators, as ill forget otherwise.

Beko seems to have much better reviews than Hotpoint one.

Re: Dishwashers ok with extended long hoses??

    Thats a good point too.

I may see if i can get it in the cupboard right of oven, i may be able to take out the whole bottom of cupboard and the back of the cupboard, then it should fit there.

    thanks

Re: Dishwashers ok with extended long hoses??

Approx 11ft each pipe would have to be.

heres a rough picture so u can see what i have in mind 🙂

if u think it would work ok, a slimline should fit underneath the worktop with the cupboard out.

the cupboard right of the oven goes to the far wall so be difficult to take out just that part.

Thats the only space the other side is the same L shaped cupboard like the one right of the oven then a large tall cupboard then the door.

    hope that helps.

    Re: DCS14W White/Streaks on Glasses

    Hi

I think im in a hard water area from the Checker on the Calcon website.
    I use finish rinse aid.

Ill let the salt run out then see if that works better, and adjust the dial on the rinse aid.

I did unscrew the sprayer and looked in side and water flowed through it so tht didnt look blocked.

    Hi

Yes i keep the rinse aid topped up, and the salt.
I fill the salt up to the top when the warning light comes on for low, is this right?

    Re: DCS14W White/Streaks on Glasses

    Hi

    Yes they are stainless steel.
I have to rinse the glasses under the tap to get the white marks off.

I saw another post from Sgeorge about he thought his problem was a Salt Problem, if so how can i get around that? I use Finish salt.

Did you solve your Problem SGeorge?

My Zanussi DCS14W is having the same sort of problems, cloudy and white residue on glasses, and stainless steel getting rust spots?

    thanks

Re: DCS 14W Zanussi Rinsing Problem

Looks like that was the problem, its nearly there now, only slight marks now. Im using 1/4 of the tablet (luckily they break easy). Once the box is empty ill try something else maybe dishwasher liquid instead of tablets.

Havent heard the droning high pitch noise since either.

    thanks
