Brilliant! Many thanks. I see that the part was just above the diagram that you posted earlier.

Re: Baumatic BDW13 temperature sensor location

Found it. It was hidden by two grey pipes that go around the heat sensor and are then cable tied to the front of the dishwasher. There are also lots of cables that are wrapped around it. Lots of cable ties to snip away before I could get to it.

Re: Baumatic BDW13 temperature sensor location

I have looked for this sensor (the one in a black plastic cage) and cannot find it. Unfortunately I do not know what a half wash solenoid looks like. Through the left hand hatch I can see a plastic container at the front, about the size of a large beaker (it looks like it is half full of lard!) but there is nothing behind it . Through the right hand hatch is where most of the workings are. I can see the thermostat at the back. Am I going blind? lol My model is definitely the BDW13 and I have the right spare part. I don’t suppose anyone has a service manual for this machine?

Many thanks for your quick and helpful replies.
The unit has been placed on top of what looks like the offcuts from where the sink was fitted, into the countertop. Wonderful piece of craft, I dont think! I thought it should have been housed in a purpose built cabinet!
I have been able to pull out the kick board to get more access and see where the leak was coming from.
There is about 5mm gap on the top and left hand side. There is more of a gap on the right, where there is a facia board covering the gap.

I am getting to the point where I will go all Kung Foo and smash it to bits.
Although it might be auspicious to wait for the Chinese new year. 😆

Hi. The dishwasher is one of those Chinese jobbies (yes I know 😳 ) a Haier (Bernstein) 02-800473. The bits that are broken are on the fully intergrated door. They are round plastic posts that locate on the dishwasher door.

Thanks Dave. I have the suppliers sorting it out. I was just curious as to what the error codes meant. Thanks for the info on the manufacturer. It seems the Chinese are manufacturing everything these days!
